As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and develop our sales strategy in Libya.

Position Overview:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing sales operations in Libya, building and leading the sales team, and driving business growth. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the Libyan market, and experience in the power generation and/or marine sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth in Libya.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the power generation and marine sectors.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government entities, and industry stakeholders.

  • Work closely with the Country Manager and HQ to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team based in Libya.

  • Set clear sales targets, monitor performance, and provide guidance to ensure objectives are met.

  • Foster a results-oriented culture with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Market & Competitive Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.

  • Provide market intelligence and insights to support decision-making at the regional and HQ levels.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted sales campaigns and promotional strategies.

Operational & Reporting Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper sales documentation, contracts, and compliance with company policies.

  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews.

  • Coordinate with the aftersales and technical teams to ensure seamless customer support and service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

  • Minimum 7–10 years of sales experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.

  • Experience in the power generation, diesel engines, or marine industry is highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of the Libyan market and business landscape.

  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in English and Arabic is required.

  • Willingness to be based in Misurata, Libya, and travel as needed.
