We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer with a passion for teaching to support us in setting up an MTU Training Center. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and running a training centre dedicated to internal employees and external customers whilst ensuring that training programs adhere to the high standards set by MTU. Your expertise in mechanical engineering and teaching vocation will be pivotal in effectively transferring knowledge and skills.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Program Development:

  • Collaborate with MTU to understand training needs and objectives.
  • Set up comprehensive training programs aligned with MTU standards and industry best practices.

2. Training Center Setup:

  • Lead the setup of the training centre, ensuring it meets the requirements for effective learning.
  • Design and arrange the layout of training facilities, ensuring safety and functionality.

3. Instruction and Delivery:

  • Conduct training sessions for internal employees & external customers on various MTU products, systems & technologies.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and support to participants as needed.

4. Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Continuously update training materials and methodologies based on feedback and industry advancements.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and performance evaluations.
  • Generate reports on training outcomes, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.

6. Professional Development:

  • Stay updated on advancements in MTU technologies and training methodologies.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to foster a culture of continuous learning.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in Mechanical Engineering, preferably in the field of diesel engines or power generation.
  • Strong teaching aptitude and experience delivering technical training programs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly & effectively.
  • Experience in setting up and managing training facilities or centres is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for training purposes.
