Facilities Maintenance Person

Roles & Responsibilities:

Maintenance and repair tasks throughout the hotel premises, while ensuring all equipment and facilities are in proper working condition and certified.

Specific duties:

• Conducting routine inspections to identify maintenance and certification updates needed.
• Performing repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
• Painting/plastering walls, repairing furniture, and fixing broken fixtures.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the hotel premises.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Maintain outdoor area, including gardening and walkways are clear and safe.
• Keep track of maintenance supplies and request replacement when necessary

Skills and Qualifications Required.

• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and plastering/painting techniques.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely.
• Strong communication skills to interact with guests effectively.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
