As a Mechatronic Technician at Melita Power Diesel, you will play a critical role in maintaining, repairing, and optimizing our range of MTU engines. Your expertise in mechatronics will contribute significantly to the efficient operation and longevity of our engines, ensuring the highest standards of performance for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on MTU engines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechatronic systems.
• Implement upgrades and modifications to enhance engine performance.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technological advancements in the field.

Qualifications

• Certified Mechatronic Technician with specialisation in MTU engines will be considered an asset.
• Proven experience in maintaining and repairing MTU engines will be considered an asset.
• Strong understanding of mechatronic systems and diesel engine technology.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in continuous learning and training programs.
