Carpenter

Job Description:

Support in construction of the wooden framework and structural components of boats and ships, including building hulls, decks, bulkheads and other supporting structures.

Responsible for the interior woodwork and cabinetry in marine vessels. Construct and install cabinets, shelves, tables, seating, berths, other custom furniture and fixtures.

Get involved in the repair and restoration of damage or worn-out wooden components in marine vessels. This includes replacing rotted or damaged sections, repairing joints and refinishing surfaces to maintain structural integrity and aesthetics.

Proven experience as a carpenter.

Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.

Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.

Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
